During your initial session, your therapist will be looking for areas of fascial restriction in the body. The treatment approach will vary depending on where your particular areas of restriction lie. You may be treated in areas that seem unrelated to your condition. However, these areas may be creating a “drag” on adjacent pain-sensitive structures, thus contributing to your symptoms. Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Each Myofascial Release Treatment session is performed directly on skin without oils, creams or machinery.
Treatment sessions are often relaxing. There may or may not be a conversation with the therapist, and at the same time, the therapist will encourage you to be aware of sensations you may be feeling in your body. Feedback to the therapist about what you are feeling helps the therapist to be most effective.

Myofascial Cupping Therapy applies a negative pressure on the skin using plastic or silicone cups. The suction created by the cups stimulates and increases local blood flow, which may help relieve joint and muscle pain, reduce inflammation and increase overall wellbeing.
*** some cupping applications can CAUSE bruising, some cupping techniques may not bruise, speaking with your therapist helps ensure the quality of your treatment***

45 Minute Cupping Therapy

60 Minute Cupping Therapy

Standard therapeutic massage therapy that focuses on the trigger points or knots we feel in our muscle tissues. This style of treatment uses lotion and can feel more "deeper". Any pressure applied in therapeutic massage therapy will always be at the patients comfort level.
*Therapeutic Massage Therapy may have some side effects of pain and tenderness after the massage.  Every effort will be made to reduce the side effects but sometimes they occur as a normal outgrowth of manual therapy. Side effects may arise in the days or weeks following treatment.*
